The Adoption Process

Thank you for your interest in adopting. Please take a look at the available pets at 'Adoptable Animals' under the 'Adopt' tab.
Every animal is unique and has individual needs - so it's important to read the listed descriptions carefully to ensure this animal will be good fit for your home and lifestyle. If you already have a furry friend, we check with your veterinary practice to ensure the pet has received proper care, and if you're renting, your landlord must give permission before bringing a new pet into the household.

We can't wait to help you find your new furry friend - to get started, read the information below then please fill out our interest form, linked under the 'Adopt' tab as 'Interest Form'.

We will then get in touch with you after receiving the Interest Form and plan to schedule an appointment for you to meet your new potential companion. If you have trouble accessing the form, email [email protected]. Filling out the interest form is simply a way to express your interest in adoption - this does not guarantee you an animal, or create any obligations to adopt.

All dogs receive veterinary checks, heartworm testing, vaccinations, spay/neutering, and other necessary care. Dogs are current on heartworm and flea prevention. Adoption fees vary, and are listed in individual descriptions, with fees going towards veterinary expenses.

All cats receive veterinary checks, Feline Leukemia/FIV testing, vaccinations, spay/neutering, dewormed, and other necessary care. In some cases, kittens may not be ready for surgery or may not weigh enough, so procedures may be postponed. In this case you'll be provided with a voucher to help with sterilization costs.

Although we adopt out declawed cats that come to us in that condition, we will not send cats to homes where they will be declawed as this may harm the cats causing lifelong physical and/or behavioral problems. We believe that cats should live indoors to keep them safe. Some kittens and cats are happier when they have a feline companion, so we may require them to be adopted together or with a pre-existing cat at home. Adoption fees vary, and are listed in individual descriptions, with all fees going towards veterinary expenses.
